Adapted from the award-winning picture book by Chris Haughton, this brand new show for children aged 3+ (and their grown ups) uses acrobatics, slapstick comedy, Sign Supported English and live music to bring George’s joyful escapades to life. Originally commissioned by ARC Stockton and The Civic, Barnsley in 2020, Oh No, George! is brought to life by Can’t Sit Still, a South Gloucestershire based arts organisation that tells stories and starts conversations with the power to change the world.

The Modfather returns. Few people have had as great an influence on the British music scene as Paul Weller. As frontman of The Jam, Weller spearheaded the Mod revival in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, scoring a string of hits, including Going Underground and A Town Called Malice. His latest solo tour reaches Leicester on the back of recent album, On Sunset.

The Stilton Cheese Vehicle Run Uppingham
The Stilton Cheese Classic Vehicle Run is organised to coincide with the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Club’s annual ‘Drive it Day’, where owners of classic vehicles are encouraged to take to the road. The run will continue to start from Uppingham, making slight detours along the Welland Valley either to Barrowden and Wakerley Woods or a slightly longer run to Rockingham near Corby before rejoining the original route at Harringworth or if you have the time why not enjoy both detours.
